I’m tempted to use Cobb but I’m waiting for more reviews.

I talked to my guy who has been working on my cars for 7 years and he said skip the tune. Mostly for reasons above. I have a Carrera T as well and we tuned that to give it a little more get up and go. Much easier to do on a turbo car.

Hey everyone! I know this thread was initially about a different tuning product, but noticed some misinformation about ours so wanted to hop in and clarify.
The Flash Guide referenced was from our initial release of tuning support for the 718 and 991.2 vehicles back in June of 2018, when ECUs did need to be removed from vehicles in order to be unlocked before flashing via the Accessport. In December of 2019, that all changed when we released the ability for our Accessports to tune supported 718 and 991.2 vehicles right out of the box, without the need for a bench unlock. This new process is how tuning for the 991 and 991.2 GT3/GT3 RS works as well. You do not need to worry about removing the car's ECU, flashing via the Accessport directly through the car's OBDII port works right out of the box.
Available maps for 991 and 991.2 GT3 / GT3RS can be found here: https://cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wik...3+RS+Map+Notes
Hopefully that puts some of you at ease about the Accessport and it's functionality. As a reminder, we also offer a 30-day money back guarantee. If you purchase an Accessport and are not happy with the results, simply uninstall it from your car's ECU and ship it back within 30 days for a full refund. Let me know if I can answer any other questions!
