Hissing type sound coming from Side Air Intakes on a 2016 GT3RS

Default Hissing type sound coming from Side Air Intakes on a 2016 GT3RS
Hi all.

Have just taken possesion of a 2016 GT3RS and must say it is a fantastic machine.
I have noticed that on tapping the throttle there is like a hiss sound that emits from the side air intakes and a puff of air that you can feel.
Excuse my ignorance but is that just a vacuum noise when the throttle body opens up.
Just curious why you hear a hiss and can feel air coming out when should be sucking in.....

It's the side intakes sucking in air and it's one of the best sounds of an RS IMO.

All normal sweet sound. 991.1’s actually sound better than the .2’s I find. Enjoy

You are correct! 8-9k rpm sound in a 991.1 GT3 is one of the best in modern cars.

Many forget this car had no PTF for emissions, and no way the 992 comes close to this sound.
