Default 991.1 GT3 wiring in a shift light question?

Hi
Has anyone wired in a shift light to their 991.1 GT3 and also done it in a way as to not threaten the Porsche Warranty? If you have, would love the details.
Cheers,

I have a Shift P2 wired into my car. Done by a dealer when I also

had a track nanny installed. All I know is it was wired into the main harness at the rear of the car not to one of the coil wires. I only use it when manually shifting on the street. Screen grab showing mine.

https://www.cartek-store.com/Catalog...UG-IN-CK-CC-04

plugs into your ODB port and provides power & signal for some shift lights, no cutting no nothing and simple to unplug come dealer visit

I saw in this thread that on a 996 Pin9 of the ODB2 port was a dedicated tacho output. Is this still the case on the 991.1?

IIRC the tech who worked on mine told me there was no appropriate signal at the dash on my car, a 991.1.

Anyone get the info for the 991.2 GT3?
I am hoping that plugging into OBDII would work.

Not sure if this helps but, this company offer steering wheels and as an option, shift lights. They run wirelessly from the ODB II port.
