Hey everyone,
Does anyone know how to remove the headrest on a lwb seat? I want to change the embroidery on the headrest and don’t know how to take it off.

Hmmm, interesting question...I would assume they are glued on to the internal CF skeleton. Perhaps some hot upholstery knife would do the trick to make the hardened glue liquify again. I would definitely consult with your Porsche dealer and ask to speak to whomever their Porsche certified body shop is or perhaps one of the Porsche custom seat artisans online.

Figured it out. Just in case anyone else wants/needs to do thus here is how it’s done.








It’s actually a cover and that is what comes off.
