So.....I've been looking..... and looking off and on for a long while. I ordered and took Euro delivery of a Carrera T in Stuttgart a few years back but if I had been given an opportunity to order a GT3 back then I certainly would have. The T is a great car and will sorely miss the one I had as it's a great daily but I always wanted more theater or sense of occasion. I finally found an '18 GT3 that is extremely close to what I would have ordered if I had procured an allocation several years back. I'm currently on the list at two dealers for a 992 but I just couldn't pass this particular one up. I think I'll need a center muffler delete and I'll be good. Honestly I think Porsche nailed the design of the .2, especially the front bumper. Touring or winged GT3? Meh I'm indifferent. No doubt it's the best car I've gotten my hands on yet and right now I'm thinking that the 992 isn't really what I'm looking for. The 991.2 GT3 is gorgeous:
OP: Congrats. And I agree that Porsche pretty much nailed it w/ the 991.2 GT cars. For sure get a center muffler delete - I'm partial to Sharkwerks for ease/cost.
