I love them!
Keep in mind the seat electrical connectors may not work going from LWB to Sport.
The side air bag which deploys from the seat may not function. So I've been told by a Porsche Tech.
Please share any insight on this if you are aware of connector compatibility.

I did a side by side comparison of the sofa and carbon buckets. The buckets were too upright and while a good position for track use - it did not feel comfortable for me at all, and frankly unusable for longer periods of time. I do 2-3 track days a year so I opted to the flexibility and usability of the sofa seats. While I like the look of the buckets more, looks mean nothing if you ain't comfortable.
Some say sofa seats in an RS affects resale value, but since there are so few RS cars with sofa seats, the opposite may also be true.

IMO the sofa seats in the RS should actually be pretty good for track use. I had the LWBs in my 2016 RS and now opted for the sofas on the 2019 RS. The "sofas" are not the same as in my normal 991 TTS and are much more bolstered and firm so yes, even though people call them "sofas" they are a much better sofa compared to the comfort seats on a regular 911.

I concur with that and I was pleasantly surprised when I sat in one. I think the bottom-line is that if the sofa seats did not work for the "spirit" of the RS, Porsche would not have put them as an option! Sometimes, Porsche knows best!

Why does it matter to me? Lol have you become so touchy we are now going to go down the "why did you ask that question?" path? I asked because I felt like asking why he would want sofas in an RS car? Take a chill pill and don't sweat the small stuff dude

Sofas
I specifically went for sofas as I find them much more comfortable for me personally.
I had buckets in my previous GT3 and found them harsh on my lower back
