Default Track wheels for .1 GT3 with PCCB?

New to me 991.1 GT3 with PCCB and getting it ready for track use. Any recommendations on wheel brand and size for someone doing 6 - 8 track weekends per year?

What’s wrong with the OEM ones?

My thinking is keep the OEM wheels in good shape and use track wheels for track weekends. On my other car (987.2 CS) I have two sets of BBS wheels for fresh tires on day 2 of the weekend. HRE and OZ have been mentioned to me for the GT3.

I think if you take into account cost, durability and weight the OEM wheels are probably the best all around bet.

Go with 19’s if they fit over PCCB. Lighter and you will save some money on tires.

The HRE R101 Lightweight is an excellent choice for the track. It is the most lightweight aluminum forged wheel in the world for the 991 GT3. It will also clear the PCCB's if you chose to order them in 19" sizing. Feel free to send me a private message if you'd like to learn more about them.
