Default 3RS PCCB wear question

2016 GT3RS PCCB's. Bought it at 1500 miles, currently has 8000 on it with ZERO track time under my ownership "I know... but Covid times are hard to get out" I have noticed a whitish color change from the mirror like finish starting to form on the out edge of my PCCB''s " all of them" Normal? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Is that white puck residue perhaps? Have you seen the puck profiles?
That only happens when the ceramic pucks receive uneven pressure from uneven pad wear that cants the incline angle

This will go away with one or two proper heat cycles of your brakes. From your description of use history, I think you're simply looking at car wash and pad oxidation residue.

@CRex .... that's right after a good-spirited 60 min drive. Im going to take it back out this week and see what they look like after another good drive.
