JCR race pipe vs Dundon crack pipe , which is louder?
Thinking about upgrading my center bypass for my .2 gt3 to something a bit more extreme. Currently have an older generation CMS center bypass, the sound is very much comparable to BBi/gmg bypass. Any owners have experience with one or both?

Never heard the JCR race pipe throttle wide open but I have the street header + crackpipe setup from Dundon. To be honest, I don't see how much louder it can get before sounds bad... Cold start from the Dundon system measures around 97 db (a) and 70mph cruising on the highway measures 93 db (a) from the inside of the car. Had multiple track days (VIR, WGI, NJMP) with the Dundon setup and I have always been the loudest GT3RS of them all. The JCR sound is likely going to be sharper (F-Car like) but not as aggressive as the Dundon system. Very good products from both brands and you won't go wrong with either.

I cannot speak for the Dundan Crack pipe, but I followed a car with JCR Race pipe last year. To be honest, I'd rather not follow him again.
I had to close my windows and I ended up with a dull headache after a spirited drive following him. I kid you not...
Then... we went into a long tunnel with many fellow GT3/RS cars, who also own Dundon (street header system).
We took turns launching and I could easily hear the JCR system over ANY of the others. It wasn't even close.
I have it on video w/ separate cams pointing front and back. I'll see if i can post it here...later.
That said, I've owned the JCR Valved Race Pipe and absolutely loved it, except for the 3 hours cruising up to the mountains (too much drone for the wife and I).
However, once actually in the mountains, i'd put it up against anything. Awesome sound and tone with no drone (if you keep it over 3.2k rpms).

I followed the same JCR Pipe as BlazinPond, and I would never be able to put it on my car. I run the Dundon headers and Black muffler (loud) and that JCR made mine sound like a Lexus.... I would have to say it would be fun for a weekend and then be a reason not to drive the car..... Just my opinion.

Nobody can answer this question because whichever one they were exposed to first was the last thing they were ever able to hear.
Joking aside, i haven't heard both, but I have the JCR race pipe on a RS. I have zero desire to have something louder. It's ridiculous actually, and the cold start in the garage will wake your house and your neighbor. I drive the car once a week,, and it's OK for that. I have no plan to take it off the car, but I will opt for something a touch quieter when I buy exhaust systems for future cars.

I had the JCR race pipe, sound was unbelieveable but very loud and my neighbors had their pitchforks ready. It does drone and you are 98% to get a ticket or four. The sound though...IMO the BBI exhaust I replaced it with was the perfect sound level.

I’ve been on the track with my Cats on Crack crack pipe setup and a friend with the JCR race pipe. While they both sound amazing the bass of the crack pipe carries all over the track. It was obvious where I was so long as I was on throttle. To know which one is actually louder you’d have to measure. They’re both loud. Both sound great but are very different tones. I believe the more important question is which tone you like best.

I have the jcr race pipe and i think its just fine for daily driving, maybe im crazy. from inside the car it not that loud at all, it might be a different story for the people behind me. i guess it all depends on what you consider loud.
ive heard the crack pipe and jrc is "sharper" as someone else mentioned, mainly because its titanium and it has a much higher pitch. its more ear piercing sound vs just loud from the crack pipe.
overall im very happy with the jcr.

JCR V DUNDON
I have a JCR system fitted and have only heard the DUNDON on YouTube .
As previous posts have mentioned, the material construction gives the all important tone.
Sound is more important than volume.
The JCR system is beautifully crafted and gives an RSR exhaust note.
