All the noise that SVJ made and then it got smoked reminded me of the saying “big hat, no cattle”.

I have never understood the appeal of an Aventador.
Never drove an SVJ, but the regular Aventador was like driving a tractor trailer. The visibility was like being in a submarine with a broken periscope, which is made worse by the fact that the car is as wide as ****, and that single-clutch is like a walking advertisement for Dramamine. Even that glorious V-12 can't cover up all of the car's failings.
I have no idea how Lamborghini actually set a lap record with the SVJ on the 'Ring.

Gap check on that 2nd run.... Warming up the tires had such a massive boost in grip, very impressive. Agreed with the other poster about not understanding the V12 bull. If they wanted to keep the raw feel with that single clutch. That technology is ancient by today’s standards. Why not offer a 6 speed manual and at least capture the nostalgic effects? Would make that bull that much more desirable

Haha...now that is called poking the Tiger, but I have my hands full at the homestead with wifey just out of hip replacement surgery and a new Bluetick coonhound pup so for the time being enjoy the reprieve

There is definitely something about the 2RS that hits harder than the Hp rating. My prior car was a Viper ACR factory rated at 645hp. I expected the 2RS to be similar but it feels waaaaaaay faster....like 150hp more not just 50.
