Glad to see fellow Touring owners realize full value in their cars thru miles & smiles on the road.

I'm current at 16.5k+ miles on my 2018 Touring that I bought in Oct/Nov of 2019 (when it had 1,745 miles on her). In addition to my current odometer pic below, thought I'd also share a fun mileage milestone pic (12,345) that I coincidentally hit on my drive home from Watkins Glen last fall (where I had to do a sketchy pull over to the side of the road maneuver to snap the pic...worth it!!).

I salute you. I am in the camp that is torn as though I love driving my car, I seem to get the most ownership enjoyment from limiting my access as much as possible. But it is so hard with a GT2 in the garage. If I had any other high performance Porsche you would have to pry me out of it. Mine is just about to hit 4K miles so I do drive her, just not often.

Great thread.

Only 4K for me so far - I'm suddenly feeling like a slacker...

But my motto is "no junk miles." I have Mercedes diesels that I let collect the rock chips and door dings on road trips.

I'm fortunate to live within 30 minutes of some of the best mountain roads in the US. So most times when I drive the Touring are fun, back roads experiences.

There’s a .2rs with 30k for sale that I want to take a look at.

Exactly this. I drove it back to back on Saturday with my McLaren 675LT. I love the LT. Specifically the way it looks... is it faster? yes. but it doesn't "seem" faster because in the touring the ruckus that happens in the back just makes you feel like you're going way faster than the actual "Tesla can slaughter me" speeds you're going... and you know what. I AM TOTALLY FINE WITH THAT.

Never thought of it this way! But so true.

We call that tantric driving!

4k is no slouch especially when all we see being sold are <1k mileage cars.

Do it. The reason I looked for a higher mileage touring was because I just wanted to drive it... and remove any thoughts of value. Getting a higher mile car forces you to just enjoy it!

4k is no slouch either... I just get a little wierded out by GT cars with 372 miles on them... and then the seller says.. best car I've driven!

Truthfully wasn't expecting this many replies. LOVE IT. This is why we drive these cars. Thanks everyone!
