The FIR wheels definitely improve the ride quality. The car is smoother over minor bumps and imperfections in the road.

The impact of turn in and acceleration is also noticeable if you are well tuned to the way your car feels.

I was surprised by how much of an impact they have made and have been thinking of why.

I don’t know if the stiffness of the wheel is less than the stock wheels, or if it’s an impact of the less unsprung mass on the suspension and the tires staying in better contact with the road over a bump.
