Default 991.1 GT3 Coolant Leaks

My 991.1 GT3 recently had a coolant leak on track after the engine was replaced and broken in for 1200 miles. Apparently, a metal coolant line failed. The dealer claims that the failure was unrelated to the engine installation. Has anyone else ever had a coolant line failure or other cause of coolant leak on a 991.1 GT3? I've never heard of it here on RL.

did you see coolant leak out of the car or did the level just drop?

Lots of coolant leaked out, it was pretty sudden. Cars behind me on track saw it.

if i remember correctly there is a coolant line to and from the engine compartment to the front radiator that is disconnected to drop the engine. did they share pics of the failed line? did the line rupture or did the connection fail?

I’m told that the line ruptured. I’ve asked for pics.

I had a problem with a line failure after an engine change on one of my GT3's, it happened a few months after the change. It was on the to side of engine, at first the dealer blamed it on the engine swap but later said they did not know what cause the problem, the line was pinched, they replaced it no problem since.

That sounds similar to my case, but I'm still awaiting pics. Porsche isn't covering fixing this under warranty, and my dealer is charging me a nominal fee to replace the line.

Here's a pic of my failed coolant line.
