Here is a pic of the newly manufactured Porsche GT2 RS Ti Roll Bar I have managed to source. The vendor/manufacturer for the new Porsche Ti roll bars is a German Aerospace/Automotive prototyping concern that I will not name. Bar comes with the Porsche Part number that I will also not reveal. Hope to have the bar in my garage by late March. I suspect I will be one of the few GT cars in America with a Porsche OEM Ti Roll Bar. Super Psyched.
Just when Waxer leaves, usrodeo4 enters to fill the void of incessant useless posts that make up for their lack of any tangible benefit to anyone by their sheer volume.
May I ask why bother posting this then with all the “I will not”s?
I have been asked not to post the particulars in an open forum so I am abiding by the request. Just wanted to let anyone know that it is possible to get the unobtainium bars. If you PM me I can give you my contact point.
~ $10K...not including installation of course. I am planning to do the install myself, I don't really trust anyone else near me and figure I can do a better job then anyone else anyway.

That is not terrible word smithing there Laertes...but me thinks you are misconstruing the narcissistic disorder definition with underlying traits. Regardless of all that, what happened to Waxer?
Installation is not as simple as u think, do it right... there are a few here in the US with them. Nice score though if you indeed do it correctly.
Please detail the process though and again, good job scoring one.
I needed something quicker so had a beautiful one piece constructed but in all honestly would luv'd to have kept it completely stock and paid for the ti unit.

Understand re: the one piece, plus yours is probably FIA approved whereas the factory Ti cage is not. I decided early on I would poke around and see if I could source a new unobtanium, just as a challenge and because it would be so unique. Thanks and I am really looking forward to the install process...I have a couple tricks up my sleeve that I am considering to make it indistinguishable to a factory Euro spec WP Ti bar car. I will insure it is completely up to Porsche factory spec...we aren't exactly, after all, talking rocket science here. I have received differing opinions on if all U.S. cars did or did not come with the welded in oblong steel plates that the bar bolts to in the front. If mine has them I will just bolt her in, if it does not I plan to attempt to order said plates but if that proves unsuccessful I think I will just fabricate my own and then tool/die stamp them with the correct part number and weld them in and repaint to match the chassis/body floor pans. But I haven't taken possession yet so still have my fingers crossed that the transaction completes.
As mentioned in the other post, Eisenmann is the manufacturer of the 991.2 ti roll cage.
Yeah Eisenmann is not who is manufacturing the new limited run of Ti GT2 RS roll cages for Porsche. If you PM me with an assurance that you will not disclose, I will tell you who it is but have been asked to keep it out of the public domain.
Hey since I have your attention and you seem to be very well informed, do you happen to have the Porsche part number for the front plates that are welded in for the cage to be bolted to? I thought I saw it in the forum a while back but can't for the life of me find it and my local Porsche parts man hasn't been able to ID them for me.
