Default undercoating

I know that earlier iterations of the GT3 didn't have rust protection/undercoating like Carreras do. Does the 991.2 GT3 have this? Im picking-up my gt3 in the early spring and would like to drive it on dry sunny days but still some salt on the roads for the next few months where I am at left over from the whole winter.

You can also look into one of these. I'd say a couple of good drives in the rain though should be fine. Since it does circulate water throughout the entire underside when driving. Some automatic carwashes may recycle water.

For some reason, I thought it was the earlier cars that did have cosmoline on the underside. The later ones didn't. For some reason I was thinking 997.2 GT3 and beyond didn't. But I could be wrong on that.

991.2 has the standard Porsche NA rust warranty -- 10 years unlimited mileages.

The underbody is pretty much completely sealed back to the rear axle, the engine is covered by the diffuser tray, and the front wheels have plastic liners.

That was like me several years ago with my TTS and guess what the washer pump was failed since new.

Now every-time I was the car I cycle all the wash systems.
