Recently tried Nankang AR-1 on my MT 991.2 GT3 and my experience goes along what has been described on a couple treads here. Great grip, takes a little bit longer than MPSC2 to warm up but when they do, they keep a more reasonable plateau for longer.
I am convinced. Now will put Pilot Sport 4S on my FI-Rs and will get some E07s for track. Still would stick with Nankangs as seem like a great compromise to drive to the track.
Anybody tried it? What tire size being used? Looking forward to some comments!

Ive run them last year on my 991 GT3. Predictable grip cold and warm. Just doesn't like the wets. Great tyre, great price.
Have you tried trofeo R on track before? How does the AR1 compare?
Never tried. I really never thought the premium was worth it.
From those who tried, AR-1 is said to sit between MPSC2 and the R compounds. But seems R tires wear much faster. So far only one open day with AR-1. Lets see how they last compared to MPSC2.
