I am looking at roll cage options and am trying to source an OEM WP Ti GT2 RS Roll cage and would like to confirm identification features. It HAD been my understanding that the .2 GT2 RS and GT3 RS Euro Spec WP car's cages were identical but it has come to my attention that is not the case. Just trying to ask for help here to confirm. It appears the GT3 RS Cage had 6 gusset points but the GT2 RS had 8 gusset points. Obviously if I am paying Ti OEM prices I want to insure I don't put a GT3 RS spec roll cage in my GT2. I have spoken to a knowledgeable motorsports contact and have done the google thing and believe the 6 vs 8 gusset points (3RS and 2RS, respectively) may be correct but have also seen GT2 RS non U.S. cars for sale with what they say is the OEM bar and it showed 6 point gussets along with this youtube Grand Tour video that seems to show the 6 point (the 8 point have the "v" gussets on both sides of the upper outer bar not just the inside). I am asking anyone here with euro spec WP RS roll bars to confirm. Thanx and have a great day.

The GT3 RS WP and GT2 RS WP have exactly the same Ti half cage. The part numbers are the same. It wouldn’t make any sense for Porsche to make different cages for each car when both share the same chassis.

The non-WP steel cage is also the same for both cars.

This is an official Porsche U.K. fleet GT2 RS WP. 6 gusset points. Exactly the same part as the GT3 RS WP.
