Can you Speculate for Me on 991 GT2 RS Values if the 992 is Partially Electrified?

Similar to a point system with your drivers license/traffic infractions, PAG should come up with a scheme such as "violations to code of enthusiasts" whereby anyone who accumulates X points gets kicked out of buying a GT car for 3 years unless they donate N number of their allocations to another person (or pay a penalty which goes towards as donation to a person who doesn't have financial means to buy for their dream car and actually drive rather than asking value threads). You then have various infractions depending on their actions (i.e. a value thread is -5 points which is the most severe penalty whereas buying a GT car and driving it less than Y miles/month is -2 points).
Wouldn't that be funny but also fair in some sort of way?
Sorry I had to do it

I too have been curious what happens in general to values of high performance ICE cars as we transition to electric cars in the short term, (our lives). Walk into a Porsche dealership now and they will tell you that by 2030 almost the whole lineup will be electric with the 911 being the last to switch over. My daily is a Tesla 3 and it’s obvious the advantages too numerous to get into but that’s NOT including the actual driving experience itself which is almost unparalleled in a Porsche GT car. In the short term I think values will go up on these until ultimately the bottom will completely fall out at some point but we will all be gone by then. Our kids kids can maybe worry about that!

Insofar as what dealerships are saying, perhaps they know about as much as the sell side analysts in the year 2000, when the Dow would be at 100,000 by 2020. . .

No.
My crystal ball is broken. Then again before it broke it said that Gamestop will be out of business in 5-10 years time. So obviously it was wrong given that people think its such a valuable Company

Unlikely to see any significant rise IMO. It’ll probably drop a bit more and then hold, but there wasn’t some meteoric rise in prices with the 997 RS when the 991s went PDK only, which is bigger deal than a hybrid version of the 992.

To be honest, I was thinking GT3RS. There were only 500 GT2RS, not thousands like the 991s. Most of the GT2Rs swapped hands for well over sticker from the get-go similar to the 3RS 4.0, again unlike the 991s. Guess we will see.
