Personally, I like Omega. But in this instance, I'd get the Rolex for sure. Buying a Porsche-branded watch is no better than going to a department store or chain store in the mall and getting one of their watches. Like going to the Diesel store or something.

I owned a couple hard to get watches: Blu Face Sky-Dweller, Blue Face Diamond Date-Just, and now I am obsessing over GMT Master || Batman.
Funny how you realize what you like and don't like, and the only way to truly understand that is to wear it everyday for a while.
If purchased at MSRP or near, can always wear a watch for a while, and if not in love with it, sell it and get your money back. That has been my experience with Rolex. Not the same at all with other brands.

Thanks, when I go back to AMS I will pick up a Batman or I can have it shipped but I get nailed with customs tax. I have other watches but these are the favs very durable and bang them no issues. I never buy my watches in the US for obvious reasons. The white gold Daytona with rubber band I wear the most.

When in doubt, always refer to this.

Not familiar with that watch brand but it is beautiful and classy...love the leather band.
I know I posted a while back about this watch but as I just spoke with my fave watch broker and she gave me some interesting market info I thought I would repost an update here. The watch broker said it was indeed available from Porsche and required the car owners VIN number to purchase for $12,650...But she said she could get one new in box on the market with papers for ~ $3K. So definitely not a wise choice to purchase one from Porsche....for the guys that got one with their cars, if that was me I would keep it as I do think it is a sharp looking watch, but for me I am holding with my Omega SeaMaster Pro 300. I am just happy the GT2 RS didn't depreciate like the watch...still have fingers crossed the 992 GT2 RS, when it shows up, will be partially electrified, which would have the last gas model's value go thru the proverbial roof.
