Default Dead battery! Even with the techquipment charger...

Battery is new from June.. Never used the minder until November or so, when I parked the car. Seemed to be doing its thing, checked yesterday and dead! Blew the fuse in the minder too..(The crappy cig lighter one)
Tried to throw my CTEK on the battery on recondition, just pops fuses on the ctek charger. Assuming the battery is drawing too much to charge... What the heck is draining the battery like this? I could be paranoid
but could the minder be to blame?
Also as a side note, I've read that no programming is needed to replace the battery (16' RS) True?

Thanks guys

Maybe just a bad battery? Blowing the fuses like that is odd.

.......or a bad connection somewhere. That would be the only reason I can think of that would blow fuses.

Turns out I was trying to use the smaller clamps on my CTEK, 5a fuse was popping on recon setting.. Used the larger ones and voila! Its charging up and going through the reconditioning as it should.
But why did it flatten in the first place? On thing I can think of is I typically dont lock the car.. Would this make any difference?

I’d suspect the battery at some stage before you began to condition it suffered a big discharge resulting in a dead cell. Have it checked.

Crazy how only after I plug in the cig lighter charger it has issues.... I never had any saggy battery issue after a month of no driving, and on a whim I decided to plug in the supplied charger. and after a couple weeks, no juice! I took it to the local battery shop after charging/reconditioning and its tested out. Im going to put the minder directly on the battery going forward.

I finally got around to trying your guys recommendations. Bad news is that it was fuse 16 which is ABS. Everything else is fine. What would be my next steps to check relays, pump, and controller board. I appreciate everyone's help on this. Getting to learn this stuff is actually the fun part.
