Track wheel/tyre set up

Driving to and from the track is what's limiting your choices to either the MPSC2 or the Dunlops. I don't believe there is a better wheel tire combo for your purposes. Unfortunately, they can only last 6-9 track days., If you are consistently doing 20 or more track days a year, you should seriously consider getting a trailer. This will open up tire/wheel choices for you. You can get 19" wheels, then combine them with take-off racing tires that you can get good value on. The whole package of trailer/wheels/tires over time may end up with you spending less money than buying the MPSC's or the Dunlops 2-3 times a year.

A good friend and great driver has used Toyo R888R and had great luck.
You do lose 1-2 seconds on a 1:40 lap but they don't fall off or heat cycle out.
This experience is at Barber Motorsports park

I think you should consider a fantastic all around pad RT race technologies RE-10. These are great on the track as well as on the street. Most importantly they have proved to be quiet for me. These are easy on the rotors and have excellent longevity. These pads are expensive but worth it.

Several weeks ago, I replied to a thread on your rim / Pirelli slick set up. I’m interested and would like to learn more on cost/delivery. I have a 3RS that I track 3-5 times a year. I trailer to every event. You can private message me to let me know cost and availability please. Thanks,
