Driving to and from the track is what's limiting your choices to either the MPSC2 or the Dunlops. I don't believe there is a better wheel tire combo for your purposes. Unfortunately, they can only last 6-9 track days., If you are consistently doing 20 or more track days a year, you should seriously consider getting a trailer. This will open up tire/wheel choices for you. You can get 19" wheels, then combine them with take-off racing tires that you can get good value on. The whole package of trailer/wheels/tires over time may end up with you spending less money than buying the MPSC's or the Dunlops 2-3 times a year.

A good friend and great driver has used Toyo R888R and had great luck.
You do lose 1-2 seconds on a 1:40 lap but they don't fall off or heat cycle out.

This experience is at Barber Motorsports park

+1 My favorite pads ever

The Nankang AR-1 probably have the highest QPR for semi-slick track tires.

I like them on Beemers, not so much on Porsches, however.

Several weeks ago, I replied to a thread on your rim / Pirelli slick set up. I’m interested and would like to learn more on cost/delivery. I have a 3RS that I track 3-5 times a year. I trailer to every event. You can private message me to let me know cost and availability please. Thanks,

My bad, this was meant for GMG Racing.
