NADA values for GT3s have gone down 6 or 7k in the last 7 months, roughly, and that decline should accelerate when the 992 is released. Current values are 129,100 low / 155,200 mid / 172,400 high and there are currently some good GT3s with asking prices in the 140s for private sales (who knows what they will sell for). Just some observations on the 991.2. YMMV

There are a few 20k cars, I bought a new turbocharged, 6.5 sec 0-60, AWD, 66.5 cubic foot cargo space, German wagon for 20k (26-27K MSRP). It's a golf sportwagen, which is about 90% of an Audi A4 wagon in terms of specs, for half the price (but for some reason the golf has more cargo space! 66.5 cu ft to 58.5) It's even more funny because VW will offer the 2WD golf wagon with leather, but not the AWD golf wagon, conspiracy theorists will say that it is because higher AWD golf trims get too close to Audi territory. But if you meant 20k MSRP cars instead of more expensive cars marked down to 20k, then I suppose that narrows the field.
It's the same game as everything else....pay to play....the car will always be cheaper down the road, always....so what do you do?....wait and never own it because it'll always be cheaper?....or buy it and enjoy it and not worry about depreciation....the price paid is LONG forgotten but the enjoyment of ownership isn't.....this is just another value thread of which there are hundreds with zero answers because know one really knows....

It's only money.

You can always make more money.

Time, on the hand? Not so much.

Unless of course you're Thanos or something.

Default 991.2 GT3 now

Is now a good time to buy a 991.2 GT3?

It seems the only reason is that you simply want the car because prices are not reflective of anything except a ridiculous secondary market.

Asking such a question highlights that price is your #1 most important aspect of the deal.
Wait until prices drop to your level, even if it takes a while
