I am no Pro driver but a number of years ago I took my Dad for a very spirited drive in my 2000 Mustang Cobra R model and we came up over a downhill rise into the twisties on a 4 lane median separated roadway and much to my surprise when I crested the hill on the throttle pretty hard to run into the curves near racing speed there was a car in my lane going the wrong way, in other words coming right at me...l was on top of things and easily avoided the on coming car but it certainly added to the excitement. My Dad in typical Rocket Engineer laconic response said, "Well she certainly handles well" and then chuckled.

Nice.

Couple years ago in my .1 GT3 I took my Father for a spirited drive and we got pulled over. It was funny because my Father was telling me how to talk my way out of it as the officer was approaching my car

The older I have gotten the smarter my Dad has become.

unfortunately my father does not seem to enjoy any kind of spirited driving, let alone being a passenger on track, despite the fact that he loves cars... my mom on the other hand just locks herself into the seat doesn't say a word and grins the whole time. sigh.. something about impressing your dad always carries that special significance but what can you do...
