Update: the more pronounced unit may prevent buffeting above 120MPH but yet to validate as the smaller unit i personally have experienced buffeting in the 130-145MPH with the AWE unit.

Lol... Doesn't need it and looks strange. Maybe some flat cap mirrors and pop-up headlights for u too? My point is, way oversized for no good, functional reason and honestly looks out of place. Those items u mentioned are definitely functionally based and this item does have a function but the lower profile ones work perfectly so why go even bigger?
A board sponsor it promoting his/her product with special pricing.....you don’t like it just move on!
No need to assume pop up headlights for me...
