Default 991.1 GT3 Folding bucket seats - lowering?

Hi,

Has anyone tried to lower the folding bucket seats?

I need more head room, specially for helmet and track use. I also feel that the riding position is a bit to upright for driving off track.

Any help will be much appreciated.

BR
Frank

As far as what is currently out there, these Tarett brackets lower them by 3/4”. They work on the GT2 buckets, but be sure they work on a 991 instead of a 997. I don’t see why not since the 997 seats fit in a 991. You can also contact a vendor to see if they will make thinner foam inserts for your seats. The stock foam is pretty thick. I would like to try out a set of seats with the lowering brackets and thinner foam. My head touches the ceiling in a 997 with buckets without a helmet. But have yet to try the setup I described.
