Default Can the Dealer set the sport button to be on by default?

Title says it all... I have a GT3 Touring and absolutely love this car, but one thing that kind of annoys me is that I can't set the sport button to be on by default. I don't think I have ever driven the car without sport on and the exhaust button on. Wondering if this is something that the dealer can change?

I've been wondering this myself too, your post reminded me to check. It looks like there are two settings in PIWIS for the keypad (BKE):

One is for "coding value for the default driving state" set to "ECO ON" by default. I changed this to "LAST_MODE"
And the other is "Coding value for the default driving state, load mode" set to "no" by default. I changed this to "yes"

I programmed my keypad with the above settings but don't have any way to test this at the moment since my car is sitting on the battery tender. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and report back.

It didn't appear to work, that setting appears to only apply to auto start/stop, which my GT3 does not have.

Dealer could do it on the 991.1 Carreras. Beginning 991.2 I don't believe it was available anymore for the regular Carrera.s

I don't believe it was available for any iteration of the 991 (either .1 or .2) GT3/RS cars.

A little research has yielded this solution
http://t-design9.com/memory_module.html

If anybody does install this / has it already, please let me know how it works.

Chris, I have one of the T-Design modules for my GTS and it works great. I never worry about pressing the sport button anymore.

We have hundreds of installs and of course it works great. It makes car how it should be from the factory, before green european politicians decided we need lame mode to be default every time

On the other hand... why push button, if you know that's what you want by default? Why push button, just because some politicians decided we need to push button?

I mean we all use remotes for TVs... But why, if you can walk to the TV and push a button

Also, if you track the car or auto-x, you can literally forget to push the button, and then ruin your lap. Even if you don't track your car - you might forget to push the button and make your drive less pleasant than it could have been!

I need all the exercise I can get.

Pushing buttons count.

Indeed! But that's about the only reason to want to push the button, instead of having car just remember your choice. Imagine if politicians decided you have to adjust the seat from default position 0 every time...
