Default PPI Needed on a .1 GT3 with only 4,300 miles?

Would it be worth doing a PPI on a 2016 .1 that had only 4,300 miles on it? Never tracked. I mean what would you find? The car is barely broken in.

I wouldn’t be too concerned. These cars are bulletproof.

I would want a paint PPI unless I was inspecting myself. Or just someone on Rennlist to look at it before buying and shipping.

A PPI is very small cost given the price of these cars, I would absolutely get a PPI. its almost 5 years old and has a few miles on it.

Spending 500.00 for PPI on a 100k plus? If it was a home you would hire an inspector.

CPO then maybe not needed but you should not take any statements at face value always best to see for yourself.

Some of the Porsche dealers are not so ethical as you might be lead to believe.

Similar to others, definitely worth the expense to have a PPI done by a place you trust to be thorough. It has been my experience in these scenarios, e.g. low mileage, you're more likely to find an issue with something you need to inspect in person, which has nothing to do with the mechanical priorities of a standard PPI. Have seen cars with 3k miles that weren't treated as well as one with 15k. You may want to validate it is up to service based on the time vs. mileage too. Good luck!

Another member started a post on rusted center locks. I had the same issue. The repair on my .2 was nearly $4000 at a little over 5000 miles.

A little something you might catch with a PPI.

If it's out of warranty, might be useful.
