Is this considered “a lot”?

Why do I see people posting in threads saying there are so many 991.2 GT3’s for sale and they are depreciating like every other car on the market.

Getting a tasteful one seems extremely hard. Am I missing something?
I was hoping one of the "bright" colored ones would fall into my price range but sadly none have; have been watching and waiting but still no big dip in the market. Even the .1 are staying pretty flatlined.

Camouflage green rs6 avant

Thiought i would go back to a few track days here and there..but never did..just a few laps at road atlanta and realized i was going too quick in a car without a cage

When i decide to go back to the track ill rent a seat in a car

In the back of my mind i may scratch the itch for a gt2rs if i find a good stripper spec

"bright" colors? On a Touring? Isn't the idea to be low key, hence the Touring should be presented in a proper, acceptable color such as Grey, Blue or Green?
Whatever are you thinking?

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Great choice with the RS6. Very nice car. I bet it’s a lot of fun. Unique color as well. Love it.

One day if you do decided to satisfy the GT2RS bug, you may need to find one with a cage already installed 😆. Ive heard a rumor or two that they are a little more peppy on the track then the 3 😀👍🏻👍🏻

nice! I was all in on RS6 then yesterday I walked in to a random Audi dealer just to get an idea of what an RSQ8 looks like. It was parked next to an allroad A6 which is pretty much the same as an RS6 minus the aggressive body. I was shocked that the RSQ8 was almost identical length and width. It looks mean as hell and I’ve changed my mind going with the RSQ8 mainly as it’s higher and easier for me to get in and out of being tall. They killed it on the RS’s. Looking like December delivery.

not sure you understood my question. Have you called some of these GT3 owners to see how much less they would accept?

Hey, pretty sure I saw you driving on La Costa ave. this past Friday, midday. Unless there's another 991.2 green GT3 in our area haha.

These cars aren't your typical drive to work, go shopping, drive the kids to practice type vehicles. They're extreme, loud, fast, and basically a street legal race car. They make them in extreme colors because they suit the car. They help them stand out further from a standard 911. Personally, I love the color options.

Because:

And because, until the thing below (LG RS) was released, there was a LONG drought in the Porsche color palette for a bold green, despite bold blues and greens having a pretty devout following from the P enthusiast world. And, because the premium for the two green guys above, while still alive-and-well, once upon a time during jelly bean PTS tulip-mania (with Green being the unicorn tulip at-the-time), that middle green one was 2x its non-green siblings.

While LG isn’t universally accepted as a Viper/Signal/RSG like-green, it still pumped a LOTTA bright green images/examples into a green-starved GT market along with a lot of additional jelly bean standard colors (MB/LO/UV/etc) AND a record number of PTS (containing a record % of jelly-beans). The market eventually is efficient and eventually over-corrects. For a while, in addition to green having a devout following, it was the top “I want what I can’t have” P color as well. Me included..........i was GREEN with envy for a green GT and would stop at nothing until i had one! I had that middle guy for a few years and while I am w/out a jelly-bean for the first time in a long time, there’s nothing like an obnoxious jelly-bean P-GT car (esp the green ones!).

Be thankful that if you are bitten by sort of reptile that causes you to foam at the mouth to own an obnoxious green Porsche, that it won’t cost you QUITE as much as it would have a few years ago to cure your ailment.
