I heard back from dealer..they are going to comp the battery. a word to the wise, Porsche requires you to drive 6000 miles per year in order for your battery to be covered. I'm about the least handy person in the world, the only thing you see when i open my toolbox is a checkbook. I can handle the air filters, but that's about it!
