The market is very soft. Expectations and reality are out of equilibrium. With the 992 GT3 on the horizon, I fear it will get worse as the market picks up more cars.... PTS cars were not uncommon for this gen so the premium demanded for the uniqueness is more of a wash to price but will help sell cars priced right over non PTS.

Wholesale on these cars has come down to abt 138-145 so 169 is a little high, a buddy of mine put an offer in at 150 cash and it was rejected, it would have been his third 991.2 GT3 in the last year a half. I bet a 157+ offer would take it home.

This same car was listed for like $164k a couple months back on a different site and they actually moved pricing up to $169k...I guess they were getting too lowballed. I'm sure you're right, $10k off the asking should be achievable.

Polarizing color. Probably not helping it.

The market for this color is limited and my guess is those wanting this color know it.

Icing on the cake would be if it were dressed in all the CF trim and CF intake. That color would really set off the CF. It would look insane. This is a color people either love or hate. No in between. I think an RS would look amazing in this color since the RS is already obnoxiously attention getting lol. Its a subjective world we live in. Makes it great as there is something out there for everyone.

update, price down to $164k. Certainly better value than the acid green car being offered at over MSRP on autotrader
