Shades of Blue...Colours Part 2
Thanks for the input re 718 Spyder PTS colors...will be going with a shade of blue. As before, I have never seen any of these in the flesh and except for voodoo there are no examples of 718’s in anything other than standard miami and gentian blue. So what do you think of the following options- (apologies- Meissen and Gulf, while striking, are a bit too light for me)
Albert Blue
Oslo Blue
Dark Sea Blue
Voodoo
Arrow Blue
Albert Blue
Oslo Blue
Dark Sea Blue
Voodoo
Arrow Blue

I didn't want to wade into the other thread, but I would have suggested Albert Blue without you bringing it up. Since you have, I'll vote for it.

Albert blue. Every day. And twice on Sunday.

Oslo and Albert. Can't pick between them, but they are both unreal...

I’m a big fan of Voodoo. Bought it the first time I saw it.
Had a Gray/Black/ Guards Red 997.2 GT3 RS previously and prefer brighter colors.

I really like the look of the dark sea blue on the touring. Assuming it has the same impact on the 718, it would be my choice of these blue options. IMHO, there is a specialness to it, hard to articulate but you know it when you see it...it is a classy look. Totally understand where it might be too understated for some people. What look are you going for?

To expand a bit more...if I was getting a Touring and picking a blue shade, the Meerblau/Deep Sea Blue would be my pick, since it visually shrinks the car, and agree is a very refined shade, especially with chrome accent.
A couple things though on a 718 Spyder on why I'd go with Albert instead (if it's available).
1) it's already a smaller car, so not sure you won't to shrink it visually much more
2) with relatively little large surface areas, i think the "classy" effect dissipates since it is broken up more by scoops/accents.
3) people will assume you ordered yours in regular ole' Night Blue Metallic (i know none of these are metallic, but still, given comment 2 above, it will be relatively hard to know difference from 100' away)
4) you'll appreciate the slightly higher contrast with the rollover hoops

I'd also look at Golf blue (Not Gulf). My 991.2 GT3 was going to be Golf blue until they doubled the PTS price after I ordered it.
Personally I'd go with Voodoo. The Albert isn't that much different than Gentian blue. If I'm spending $12k for paint, it will be something unlike any standard color.
