'18 GT3 tire wheel upgrade questions
My buddy just got a new to him '18 GT3 and has already ordered Fuchs style wheels with proper off-sets in 21 'x 12.5 on the rear and 20' x 9.5 on the front. He was planning on running 325/25/21 on the rears and is not sure about the fronts. He's owned a lot of great cars but not a DE driver, so I am worried he's going to F-up the track-ability of the car, as he was going to go with stock size 245/35/20 on the front (I stopped him from ordering any tires; too late on the wheels). I'm thinking:
325/25/21 on the rears [27.4 diam on Pilot Sport 4s] and 285/30/20 on the front [26.8 diam on Pilot Sport 4s]. Make sense? Will the fronts work in the wheel wells lock to lock? Better ideas? I'd like to help him make the best choice for mostly street, some canyon carving, and occasional track days. (he's keeping the stock tires and wheels). Any help would be appreciated.

A 285.30.20 is a lot of tire in the front.

I run 265 front and 325 rear on 19s on a '15 GT3. I concur with you and Alan.
