Default Carbon fiber engine cover

Hey all,

The carbon fiber piece that covers the engine on my GT3 RS is delaminating (part # 991-504-221-90) and looking to replace it. My question is the GT3 version (part #99-504-221-80) different? Would it fit? There is about a 1k price difference but I'm not sure what's different.

Thanks!

Have you tried getting it covered by Porsche? A friends CF tunnel on his '11' RS did the same after 5 years and Porsche covered it.

Yeah, they won't cover it under the CPO. They claim it's cosmetic lol

in that case I'd post a few photos which document the condition so RL can be advised as to what PCNA thinks is ok.
