Totally useless and random question.
Why does the GT3RS have decals for the model designation on the rear and the Porsche logo on the Frunk? Vs the GT3 which has badges?
I’m assuming paying homage to its Motorsports dna?
Or is there another reasoning behind it?

Just means you got even more weight reduction.

My RS 4.0 badge under the bonnet fell off about the 500 mile mark - Seriously - I felt the speed burst as it dropped away as engineered. I’m guessing the computer continues to shed larger parts as you approach vmax.

LOL yes indeed - and mooty is right its all marketing. Remember the carbon fibre roof saving 500g over the magnesium roof - well, when I stripped my RS and took the roof liner out - it, and its clips weighed just over 2kg which makes a bit of a joke of the carbon fibre vs magnesium roof weight saving. Every thing is marketing these days.
My car is now more visceral without its stickers and interior - so its more valuable.........right There just did some more marketing.

I read somewhere that AP said the stickers were made from an element with atomic number of 104 that only Porsche has access to, hence the expense.
