Default 991.2 GT3 Suspension “Upgrade” Opinions (BBi StreetCup?)

Love the GT3...but made the “mistake” of driving a ‘19 3RS recently and would like to see if the sharper turn-in and increased feel / stability / edginess can be bestowed upon its little brother. Although a daily driver, I would have no issues with the stock GT3RS suspension 24-7. Besides trading in my car, what would you all recommend? Would the BBi Autosport StreetCup Suspension accomplish this?

Full Emotion Engineering kit is a great upgrade. I have a few of their stuff on my RS and man they are a nice quality and highly engineered parts.

I'd look into how much you can snag an RS for (especially at today's prices). I don't think its worth changing any suspension components of the 991.2 GT3 IMO; that being said, I've never driven an RS, so I'd probably think differently afterwards.

I would strongly consider the E-Motion Stage 3 upgrade from Joey Seely. I just got my car back from Joey and the transformation is amazing!

I have the Stage 3 kit installed on my Touring and the car has a much more planted front-end feel, turn-in is much improved and what's crazy is the car is even more comfortable around town. The front and rear spring rates are much more in-sync and the car feels like its working as one, instead of front and rear.

Don't underestimate what a good suspension setup can do for the GT3. It's hard to improve upon the near perfection Porsche accomplished, but Joey has truly made the car even better.

The quality of his suspension pieces are second to none. No noises, just like stock but even better!

Gt3touring- that’s a helluva endorsement and would appear to check all the boxes; found your thread last month about E-motion Engineering as well. Will give Joey a call 👍

Go with Joey, we use him exclusively and pointed Chris (gt3touring) to him. He's not on Rennlist as he can't stand the bickering, but he's a master at his craft. Fang911, if you want a combo deal of Street Headers, and Suspension upgrade and your LA local then do it all with Joey. He's a dealer of ours... If not let me know and we can make a nice package for you.

Do a BBi street cup package and have them install the Ohlins TTX comp suspension package and it will have better grip than an RS on equal rubber. My .2GT3 with the kit was quicker at my home track than my .2GT3RS with current stock set-up.

i know what you mean...i have driven 991.1 GT3, 991.2 GT3 and owned a 991.1 RS but get bored after 3-4 months (felt always to soft and not wild enough;-)) after that i have said to myself no more 991.
But after driving 991.2 RS i have to say its a game changer in the 991 line.
superb body control (best street car experience so far), best/sharpest front end of any 911, amazing PDK, engine sounds good power und revs good, RWS/ABS seems recalibrated vs. other 991 GT cars.

80% of difference of former 991 GT cars and the .2 RS comes from the much stiffer springs

Planning to try stiffer springs, especially up front, this year on mine. Haven’t decided on what to try first yet. Prob just match the RS rates?

This is awesome to hear, as I have been discussing a suspension package for my incoming 718 Spyder with Joey. Looking forward to it even more now!!!

Having similar thoughts after 4 track days In my gt3 I am wondering if its better to go to a .1Rs or look at upgrades.

Where did you end with suspension or other upgrades?
