@bsquare I know, I'm bummed. I am in the process of buying a 16' GT3 RS, and was planning on that wing delete option. Guess I am going to have to own up to the wing in public.
I'd try contacting him directly before giving up hope.
I bought the GT3 RS today. What was I thinking, the wing is just fine. Yeah, my wife hates it. Yeah, it's big. But not that big, it creates the attitude of the car. Waaaayyy easier to see out back than the gt3. No news there. What she hates more: the bucket seats (and I agree). Now, that's an easy fix. The wing delete, probably will pass. Haha.
PS: love the car. Traded my moded Carrera S for it. Agonized over the decision, primarily because of the wing. Now that I have it, and the other one is gone, it's fine. It's actually cool. I'm happy about my decision, and that was a glorious drive through windy roads back from the dealer, glorious. Loud, linear, and wow, more squirrelly than I expected.
I'll revisit the wing delete decision later. Not a DD for me. No social pressure in the end. I'm solving that problem with a (non ghetto) window tinting
I was also going to do this. Remove the wing and use the black end plates. What really deterred me from at least trying it is the known issue of the nut inserts possibly stripping when you go to remove it. I definitely didn't want to deal with that. Had my daughter photoshop out the wing and thought meh anyways.

Wing for the win!!!! All day. Everyday!!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Wing delete is like castrating the RS' stellar looks.
I have the sicktoiz spoiler wind delete kit I will sell.. I can paint them any color as well. ( I own a collision repair shop) I took it off my gt2rs today.

That looks amazing.
I politely disagree with you but wingless with that hint of a ducktail has so much going for it
You've managed to use a photo that hides the air scoops - those now become a design feature in a wingless RS

Nice! Man, I'd never be able to keep these white wheels white on the inside around here. You must be cleaning it all the time.
@RoyalPink That yellow and black wheels look is amazing. Nice! Yeah, wing must stay on yours. The color of your car attracts just as much the eye. Makes the wing not as prominent as on cars with less vibrant colors.

May want to get an alignment check...
Had mine realigned after 1000 miles on the clock and it made a huge improvement; it had started to feel squirrely after being solid when new and alignment returned original feeling. I think AP/Porsche recommends alignment after it's settled a bit early on...

Looks really nice, and I did the plunge about a few months after buying car new and proceeded to partially strip one of the inserts which luckily I was able to save after buying all new screws...
To be honest, after driving wingless for a while, I missed the wing and the novelty wore off. Also, and I always mention this on every one of these threads, and again every time many disagree BUT car felt less stable at high speeds when wingless. Specifically any stint over 100 mph made me worry about how RS no longer felt like RS and frankly isn't that the point? it just wasn't as planted and that feeling was evident to me above 80 mph, maybe it's not overall downforce effect but the balance front-rear seemed different and thats when wing went back on and will stay there...
Clearly, you didn't buy this car for its performance enhancement over other 911's, because if you did I'm sure you wouldn't want to make it any slower (and on a track it absolutely will be). As for aesthetics, no-one can argue that the 991 GT3RS/GT2RS stock rear wing is a defining feature of these cars. So if you don't like the looks of it, then why buy an RS at all? Sorry for saying what you didn't want to hear, but I just don't get it. I really don't.

forget just slower on track...it may be just plain dangerous at higher speeds around bends/curves/transitions...
