Default She woke up from winter hibernation with brake squeal

PCCB's with no squeak when she was put up for winter in the garage which has radiant floor heat. Fired her up and have done 3 outings with spirited driving. Brake squeal.
Having read threads on this, figure that it is here to stay. Don't like it, but I guess thats life.

I had break squeal with my PCCB's the first couple of thousand miles. I have not heard a squeal since then, and now have almost 13,000. I drive moderately hard and autox, but no track use.

Wash the rotors and all will be right with your PCCBs.

Ian is on the dot. I noticed that (small amount of) brake dust from the pads make the squeal on the CCB's.

Agree- I know when time to wash my car- PCCBs start to squeal but it really does not bother me.
