GT2RS Clubsport Transmission
Does anyone know anything about the transmission they put in the GT2RS Club Sport?
More specifically, is it the same transmission they put in the GT2RS? Is that different than what they put in a GT3RS? Different model #s?
Does it have any more transmission cooling, or is it a similar setup to the GT3RS and GT2RS?
I ask because I feel like the transmissions in GT3RS's are a bit prone to failure with hard track use. I know too many people who have had their transmissions replaced under warranty, and now that I am out of warranty (2016 GT3RS), I am more curious about any changes Porsche has made to more track dedicated versions of our GT cars.

I imagine different gear ratios, given its intended purpose but the clubsport parts are nearly impossible to get unless u have a contact with one.
I know plenty of peoples with the RS variants, myself having the gt2rs, no issues on track but i guess time will tell. What explicit issues have they been seeing? We should get a post going to log it, will help everyone.

In a departure from Cups and other motorsport products, the CS PDK box is not designed to be teams-serviceable. I won't be surprised if the CS item is actually the street hardware. From an electronics standpoint they are both read & coded with a PIWIS 3. Says a lot.
If there's any difference between the two, it might be diff locking (optimized for slicks). Gear ratios are very close if not identical: I was almost redline in 6th around 290kmh in the CS, same as what you'd find on youtube vmax runs in street cars.
I really wouldn't think one box is radically different from the other. There's also precedence: the GT4CS PDK box is same as the street Boxster item. I asked the project leader point blank "why", and was told that reliability and dealer serviceability drove a lot of their decisions in Clubsport products.
