Default 991.1 GT3 Option 498 Delete model designation

Having trouble sleeping so I decided to browse 991.1 listings. I found one that looks good but it has option 498 Delete model designation.

Interestingly the script is "GT3" on the back instead of "P O R S C H E" which I think is the usual badge when that box is checked on the option sheet.

Which brings me to this question: Previous owner badge modding or nefarious bad body shop repair work?

I'm guessing it could be either.

Lots of people swap out badges, especially if it has PPF.

Option 498 Model Deletion is a complete no badge, no scripting on the back. It is a blank canvas in the rear. I have done this on both of my last two 991 GT3RS and really like seeing nothing in the rear.
