Default Future of GT cars. 10 Piston Brakes

A glimpse of our future GT cars, the new Turbo has front 10 piston callipers, with a 420mm rotor. Improved braking at speed, with the contact surface of a larger brake pad.

Since Porsche reads our forums, (how easy it, to see what the customer wants or thinks) we will get a front facing camera with an actual track data system, some kind of active aero, moveable front vents and rear braking wing.

Not sure about all that, but I do think we'll get the Michelin Track Connect type of system built in to monitor tire temps and pressures.

If the virus tanks the economy (especially China's), I predict no difficulty getting allocations nor ADM's.

I vote for active Aero built into the diffuser and a rear wing.

Isn't this the most exciting addition for the Turbo S!

I think the under-body diffuser on the 911 is too shallow to benefit much from anything active there.

Why not 12 as these boats get more and more bloated. Wish they'd start shrinking them. Losing more and more appeal by the generation.

look on the bottom left of the screen - you should see a little speaker icon. If there’s a line through the speaker click on it.

This shows the speaker off

They don’t need to read the forum for the camera track abomination..
Just look at a $80K Corvette. That’s what I want Porsche...

Brakes, not sure we need more pistons, lots of better systems are simpler, give us the CUP car setup.
They already know how to do that as well.
Probably has more to do with ability to sell Porsche taxed rotors and pads..

To be fair, weight hasn’t gone up much since the 996GT3..
The new GT3RS Clubsport aka the 992 CUP is getting ABS, AC, hell maybe they will bring them out of the sequential dark ages with a PDK.

I better hang on to my trailer for now.

The caliper and rotor setup has been out for a while. I believe it debuted on the Urus. used on some Cayenne and RS6 models. I think the caliper is Akebono.

It is likely to be popular on heavy performance cars. Not sure about ones that aim to be lighter, but who knows.

Where is this info on the new Cup?
