Default OPF RS Aftermarket Exhausts

I own a GT3RS with the OPFs and I really dont like the sound, since to me its quiet. So I looked up exhausts on YT etc but the sound-videos I found werent really giving me an Idea of how the aftermarket solutions, which most likely are center bypasses, do sound (but it didnt Sound impressive tbh but I know that Videos dont show the "real" sound). So I wanted to ask if someone here heard one or knows how much louder an aftermarket Exhaust for the OPF RS is (feeling wise) and what the best options are. Can it be compared to the non OPF Center Bypass?

Could you remove the OPF?

Did you not come across our Videos? I think they give a pretty good impression of just how much sound improvement is to be had. Importantly all direct replacement for the factory rear silencer, no chance of CEL and no requirement to tune.

Dyno Test - STOCK / JCR Silenced Race Pipe / JCR Non Silenced Race Pipe

Track Test - Mutliple

We have a number of options available for these cars with a ton of data

JCR - OPF EXHAUST OPTIONS

In terms of subjective sound comparison, our non Silenced Titanium Race Pipe is very close to that of a centre bypass dB level on a non OPF car. Albeit with mar improved tone and sound quality.

Also, if you're under any illusion of just how much better our Titanium Race Pipe sounds vs stock OPF exhaust, see below

Just picked up my system from Dundon this weekend, and put 200 miles on. Totally transformed the car. Sounds incredible, and the additional 47lb torque and 20hp at the wheels are a nice and welcome bonus.

Had a .2 GT3RS with a aftermarket bypass, that didn’t hold a candle in comparison.

Yes lifetime muffler, along with the headers. It was their first OPF system. Check out their instagram for some videos/dyno charts if you like. Sounds incredible. Car was disappointing with stock system, I was a little concerned as well how quite it was.

Hmmmm, I wouldn’t call the Dundon solution an OPF exhaust as they have just swapped out the valves on their existing system to suit the electronic valves and called it a day.

The US cars don’t have any OPF sensors or exhaust gas temperature sensors either so really its a bit of a cop out when it comes to developing a solution for the US Speedster by simply installing your old exhaust. This certainly doesn’t help anyone with a real OPF car as Dundon have no provision for the OPF sensors or exhaust gas temperature sensors

I really would have expected better from them than to simply follow the route Akrapovic have taken for the OPF cars

They’re looking for a UK based speedster to work out those details.

lol, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Yet maybe you should also consider that being based in North America and only having access to North American vehicles that they first create a system that works on North American cars? That’s the only system I’m concerned about.

The sound and performance gains speak for themselves.....

lol?

I care not for your concerns, the first thing I would do (not consider) is order the EU version of the exhaust & cover all development/market bases, as said, a cop out.

Why don't you try to get a US version to test on over there in the UK? Can't source one? Well, it's the same over here trying to find a EU version to develop on.

And for your information, the valve that Dundon used on the Speedster exhaust system is the same valve that is used in the stock OEM muffler on the Speedster.
