I have a 2015 GT3, 12,000 trouble free miles, never tracked. Last week the display threw up some warnings, but indicated driving was OK. Took it to the dealer. Just been advised that the vacuum lines have failed. Chargine me $1600 to replace them..... WTF!!!!!
I queried it and the response I go was - "This is normal, vacuum lines time out in Florida due to excessive heat".
Personally I find this hard to understand. I have several cars that have way more miles, and have lived their entire lives in Florida and I have never had to replace vacuum lines. One of them is also a Porsche!
Anybody out there with GT3's and vacuum line issues?? Would love to know

This is intersting... I have a 2015 GT3 also, and have had the same warning pop up.
I took it to the dealer, and they gave me same song and dance, vacuum lines fail etc.
It didn't sit well with me so before I actually left the car, I looked underneath and noticed that one of the tubes connecting my Sport exhaust was disconnected.
I literally re-attched it and the code went away, never came back.

With how affordable service contracts are for these cars I don't know why everyone doesn't have one.

Yeah, I live in Florida and I think mine are toast, too. But I have 140K miles on a 16-year old GT3. Local shop said that starts to happen at about 100K miles.
12K sounds wrong, but it's possible one has gone bad (torn?) and the dealer figures its best to replace all of them. Not sure I buy that strategy on a new car.

The only problem I've had with a vacuum line on my 2014 GT3 is the one on the FAL unit that was chewed through by a rodent! Other than that, no issues. I can't recall having a failed vacuum line in any vehicle I've owned, Porsche or otherwise. Failed lines on a 4 year old 12K mile car does seem fishy.
