Wow, is everyone feeling the need to rationalize their winged purchase?

Out of all GT3s, which participated in a trackday at Hockenheim last August, all with no exception were winged.

Didn't see a wing on that Targa (2nd from last). Best looking car in the bunch!

Lots of talk of depreciation and investment and only real Porsche people even know what it is. All the kids, I do mean ALL of them, were crowed around the winged GT3 and GT3 RS oooohing and awwwwing and making race car noises. Because KIDS KNOW WHAT'S UP AND WINGS ARE F*CKING SICK. That is all.
I'm clearly still a kid. LOL

This is true...he is a bit shy and didn't want to provide a post script that he was happy to save the 50k delta from its twin e.g. touring.

I for one love the wing in the rear view. It gives a feeling of knowing where the back of the car is from the driver's seat. It also does block out morons behind you. I love the wing. My Carrara white exterior gets plenty of attention, I'd say 90% is positive, the other 10% is people on bikes shaking their heads and Tesla Model 3's feeling insecure enough to try and street-race. These morons have no idea that their car breaks down post 100 mph...would be left in the dust. Pathetic attempts to broaden their machismo. It's stupid. I think Tesla Model 3's are some of the UGLIEST cars on the road.

That said, here's some wing goodness:
