Could it be that the GT3 will have an owner-removable wing as well as a ducktail, eliminating the need for a separate touring package with retractable wing?

my $0.02 NOT A CHANCE...

- they have never done this before AFAIK
- liability liability liability... go back and look at the history of RS owners removing their wings and incurring the ire and wrath of PAG for doing so...
- why?
- GT3 owners are distinctly separated into "democrats" and "republicans"; there are those that think a GT3 must have a wing, and those that always wanted a GT3 but were SO embarrassed by the wing ...
there is no credible "independent" party ... therefore there is no market for such an abhorrent beast...

YMMV

Until all the front aero bits (ala the RS) show up on the GT3 why would Porsche add active aero in the rear? I expect the 992's rear wing will add a bit more downforce and with a new design be a bit lighter and that's it.

Agree. I’m a wing fan and prefer the current look to the tacked on look. For 992 gen looks like I’d go with touring.

Doesn't anyone want to hear what the functional benefits are of the new aero package, before making a decision? Nobody on board with "Form Follows Function" anymore?

I zoomed in on the wing from a slightly different angle. Looks weird. I wonder if it is active aero. What do you guys think?

I do - *real* GT3's have wings - end of!

Also wonder what advantage the "throttle body per..." (speedster) modifications will translate into improved engine performance profile...
