Thoughts on Huracán EVO RWD vs RS?
https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-car...es-specs-info/
I’ve had a few GT variants and now a .2 GT3 RS which is my favorite of them all. I always liked the Huracán and now this version comes out with a 53k price cut compared to the 4WD version. On the track I realIze the RS is faster but this new Huracán variant seems like a pretty good value relatively speaking. I don’t see the NA V10 being around much longer. In terms of looks, I think it’s even better than the 4WD version and most certainly more fun to drive.

It looks like a huge win for RWD fans.....I would say if you want to switch things up this wouldn't be a bad choice....as with any Lambo best to wait for a slighly used one IMO, although the RWD versions usually don't sell as much....the styling is definitely not as nice as the AWD car in my book

You'll spend 50K plus on options unless you want a stripper. Lambo has some egregious ones as well. There are some big offenders on my 2019 LP 580-2 build.

Do these things hold up on repetitive track days?
I don't fit, so it's a no go for me anyway

I drove the original Huracan a year or so after launch around some NorCal roads during a Lambo test drive event thing. Coming from multiple P GT cars, my expectations were quite low. Remarkably I left very impressed and have always had the idea of potentially owning one in the back of my head. Depreciation would be an issue for me, but I must give props where due - its an overall great package - I can only imagine the Evo got better...

Drove the 4wd Evo at Big Willow and car was very fast and vice free. And if I were to replace my RS, the RWD Evo would be a top contender, along w/ a used 720S or Performante. My track car is a beater Corvette so the RS really is not being used for what it's meant to do so maybe a 720S or this new RWD Evo would be a better fit for me.

With over 6K miles on my Huracan. I've had Zero issues. Car has been perfect. Unlike my RS that had a bad PDK out of the box that needed to be replaced. My AMG GTR 30-days into ownership had an electrical problem that left me stranded in the Aria Valet in Vegas for six hours. Numerous other issues happened along the way in that car as well.

The Performante is one of my favorite cars on track.
If the 2WD Evo, with the Performante engine, is anything like the Performante even without the trick active aero setup, then it's definitely a winner.

Exactly! Plus the Evo comes with rear axle steering and Perfomante's engine, even with a few less HP (nothing a tune can't fix), and that v10 is race proven in all forms, and that sound.....

Had the 2WD and the AWD, and I preferred the AWD. Similar to a 911 turbo, which I also had, I appreciate how well everything comes together with the AWD maximizing the HP coupled with the DCT. It was also clear to me the difference in standard options and appearance for both models. That has changed a little but still remains a factor as pointed out above. My LP610-4 had an MSRP of 310K and was equipped as most would spec their RS now. Both cars were very well built with no issues. Like so many things, for me it came down to personality, expectations and experience. The Lambo hits a home run on the attention and wow factor. It is unique in its styling and presence and is NEVER confused for what it is. Interestingly, I experienced over time that it wasn't a perfect fit for me. Ultimately, I found myself looking for something that provided a rewarding experience, outside of all the attention. I understand the RS has some of that naturally, but it is night and day based on my experience. Porsche seems to provide a good balance of so many things, which is likely why it remains so popular.
