Default Gt2rs, cleaning rear windows?

Any thoughts or suggestions? I've heard it is lightweight gorilla glass and others say it is lightweight plexiglass.

Curious the best way to clean, denatured or isopropyl alcohol, diluted if it is indeed gorilla glass like the original porsche press releases?

Ty for the advice,

I would use Plexus plastic polish. You can get it at most motorcycle shops or Amazon.

I've used windex for over a year no issues.

And don't use any cloths that have seen the light of any fabric softener. Only ever use dedicated glass cloths.

Ty for the advice,
Have you read the user book of your car?
Porsche usually give cleaning advices.

It is gorilla glass, by the way,

I would just use a normal glass cleaner. Preferably tint safe.

They recommended ur certified, Porsche branded cleaning supplies... no ty. I don't trust the dealer either, they know many things but miss the small details sometimes, especially on the cars they don't see often.

As per windex, I've heard from my detailer to stay away, just denatured alcohol, diluted with 3-4 parts distilled water.

Windex has ammonia, which destroys tint.

Uh...soapy water? Buff with a microfiber and a little IPA. That's what I do on my Carrera T with the same glass. Don't over think this.

cheers!

it also dries out the plastic. Plexus is the stuff to use. If it’s good enough for the plastics on fighter jet canopies and helicopter windscreens it will be fine for your Porsche. Also works well to clean paint protection film.

Its just Gorilla glass like on your phone, both my RS and Carrera T has the Gorilla glass and I clean it just like any other car for over a year on the T and never notice anything different than regular glass. BTW I had to move one seat all the way forward, then the other one all the way back to squeeze through in between to reach the back, but now ask my daughter to do the cleaning for me.
