100k over plus....these cars are stocks to hold and sell....limited driving unless money is no object...

Hard to believe the MSRP is 100k over a regular GT3....

Insanity.

Particularly with the new 4.0L NA Spyder available for so much less money and can still be ordered to your specifications, unlike any Speedster.

The Spyder looks better too.......and you can actually put some miles on the car and enjoy it without fretting over depreciation as much.

This holds true for “regular “ and certain PTS Speedsters, but Heritage is still 100k over.

no it’s not. I know for a fact you can get a heritage for much less than 100k.

Heritage was just an option you had to check. It’s not limited by the factory or anything like that.

Except Porsche suddenly stopped allowing people to get a heritage package. I know of several dealerships that wanted their Speedsters to be a heritage Speedsters, but Porsche would no longer allow it.

If you know of any Heritage Speedsters for sale for less than 100k over, please let me know. I have several friends that want one.

I am still trying to get my head around the gt3 comparison. The GT3 does not have carbon fiber fenders, carbon fiber hood, or a carbon fiber rear cover. I think it’s fitting to start out comparing the speedster to a gt3RS, based on the similar body components. A pretty stripped gt3rs with pccb and weissach starts around $215k. That makes the speedster premium more in line at $60k. Factor in that huge carbon fiber rear cover, the fact that unlike other parts of the world, this is the only 991 in the USA with ITBs, the premium is somewhat justifiable. Yes, it’s still overpriced. At least that’s my rationale...
