Default Tire Installation - Northern NJ

Looking for a place to get some tires installed in Hudson / Bergen county and was wondering if someone had some recommendations? I'm cognizant of the fact that I need someone who can deal with the center locks so was hoping you all had some advice.

Thanks!

A bit further than Hudson or Bergen but i have both of my P Cars serviced at Powertech in Rockaway. Never had any problems at all.

More importantly, what tire are you putting on the GT3? I've been struggling with picking an option.

Probably going with the PS4S this time around as I almost exclusively street drive and sometimes drive in the wet.

Good choice on PS4S. I run those in the summer on my E63S - they handle excellent, in the dry and the wet.

I would strongly recommend that you go to the dealer for the tire install.
Price should be about the same for tire install at the dealer vs anywhere else. More importantly, they know how to deal with center lock wheels.

Lastly, if anything ever goes wrong - they will fix it. No tire shop will be able to afford to fix anything on a GT3...

I've always had good experiences here and they're located in Fairfield.

I use Stable Energies/European Performance Center in Garfield for my tire changes, which are all too frequent . They have a state of art tire changer machine and have never damaged a wheel.

Need powdercoating in Newark.

He just picked up a beautiful GT2RS. Huge shop with more than just wheel mounting available.

John & George @ Apex Autowerks in Clifton. They track prep my car and several other GT3s, have a modern Hunter tire machine.

If you're keen on the dealer route, the only dealer that won't charge an arm and a leg for mounting/balancing tires (or anything else for that matter) in this area is Ray Catena in Edison, but it is a mixed facility shared w Mercedes/Range/Jaguar etc.
