Tread widths are all about the same. Cup 2's are wider than Dunlops. The rest are spread in the area within a .25 inch each way. I have Dunlops on my car for the track, but I use Michellin 4s for the street. I have yet to see and issue with them. I would run Trofeo R's on my car but they are not N rated or, according to the specs, don't "fit".

In reality, I think if you are tracking on the tires, then be very sure, but if you are driving on the street, they are not going to fall of your rims.

This. I’d never run non Porsche spec tires on track, but I certainly would on the street.

I have a friend that mounted Trofeo R on his GT3 and it looks weird the tires look small.
