Is it possible to retrofit American cars with the ITB, say when the throttle actuators wear out or is it more complicated than that?

More complicated - the electronics would be all different. Not sure if you can alter with PWIIS or not (might need new ECU).

Does it actually have ITB's ? I know that the RS have confirmed OPF, but to my knowledge the Speedster has the both ITB's and OPF.

This RS has the same identical engine to the Speedster's including the ITBs..I should know as i have a 991.2GT3 RS WP with OPF and ITBs..This is old news.
